As the MaterialsManager, you’ll beresponsible for planning, procurement, kitting and delivery of raw materials to support manufacturing, as well as the warehouse and logistics teams that handles incoming and outbound shipments. You should plan to bring your great ideas to help us optimize and streamline our materials processes.The JobWe’re looking for a highly motivatedleaderwho is ready to work across boundaries and do what it takesto meet our goals. That means everything from learning our products, implementing good workflows, andworking with partners and suppliers to get what we need to build.
•Developmaster schedule and procurement plan using our ERP (Netsuite)
•Buy stuff, manage another buy who buys stuff, and ensure there are no production shortages.
Oversee warehouse team and their activity around stock keeping, receiving, kitting, and shipping
•Develop and implement outbound logistics process and identify logistics partner to support efficient worldwide shipment
•Oversee the MRB process for non-conforming material and drive supplier corrective actions as required
•Manage outsourced and turnkey supplier relationships•Implement improved reporting and materials oversight and planning processes in Netsuite ERP
•Select, evaluate, and monitor key suppliers, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and/or quality improvement
•Someonewho isn’t afraid of a challenge, is ready for a fast pace, and loves to get stuff done
•5+ years of experience in materials, with leadership experience in high-tech discrete manufacturing, preferably in the life-science tools space
•A great communicator, who can talk about complicated ideas with clarity and share opinions with convictionacross every level of the organization
•Extremely organized and detail oriented•An overachiever with aBachelor’s degreeor better
•Someone with extensive experience with a complex ERP system (preferably Netsuite), transactions, and a greatunderstanding of production control practices is required.
