MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare or related field required.

Experience: Five (5) years purchasing or administrative experience in a healthcare environment. Three (3) years of management or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting. Advanced technical knowledge desirable.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Virginia Drivers License

Other Minimum Qualifications: Must possess a driving record within the scope of Carilion’s Driver Regulations. Excellent communication skills. Familiarity with inventory and financial software systems. Familiarity with automated procurement and inventory control systems. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work with others in a team setting. Ability to meet deadlines within short time frames. Ability to respond to patient supply emergencies in a calm and collected manner. Ability to perform in a continually changing environment.

Carilion Clinic, formerly known as Carilion Health System, is a Roanoke, Virginia-based non-profit integrated health care organization that provides care for nearly one million Virginians and West Virginians.
