Reporting to the Materials Site Leader, this individual contributor is responsible for driving critical process improvements and daily tactical execution to improve overall site execution on strategic initiatives. This is a cost plus role in the space organization but may also provide support to the defense team if need arises. This position will provide both support and leadership of site strategic projects and in support of SIOP/ SQP processes. This position will take part in relevant leadership meetings; contribute to the business in terms of improving key performance indicators and focus on driving process excellence, change management and the development of long term strategic plans. Candidate must possess strong analytical skills, be able to manage teams and communicate effectively to high levels of the organization.
Ensure site is in alignment with Aero projects in terms of day to day execution (overmax), OTTR look ahead and risk mitigation, inventory reduction initiatives (pull, VMI, cycle time reduction), working capital and supply chain strategies. Acts with a sense of urgency, sets and achieves ambitious goals, creates a positive work environment which promotes creativity and informed risk taking. Motivates and recognizes team member performance; encourages and participates in Six Sigma problem solving techniques and actions to sustain continuous improvement. This position will also require a strong internal and external customer focus to ensure effective communications are developed and managed to ensure all stakeholder requirements are met. This role will team with the Procurement Manager, Planning/MPS Managers and the SIOP Leader. Identifies, evaluates, recommends and implements continual process improvement in own position and across the organization. The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, achieve results, and a proven ability to succeed in a dynamic matrix organization is essential for this position. Uses project management tools to meet project objectives and report as required to upper management through functional reviews (MOR's, SQP, etc.). Interfaces across ISC/MPP to ensure all stakeholders are meeting project commitments; review of A3's, inventory meetings, overmax and past dues. Identify/lead and implement process improvements (including team involvement) utilizing standard work. Knowledgeable in Site and Aero reporting structures (i.e Sharepoint, Dashboards, etc).

INTERACTION: Works closely with materials organization, site leadership, ISC leadership at site and Aero to ensure clear communication about performance and metrics data. Works closely with cross functional teams to complete RPS/ CI to resolve and / or improve performance.
Bachelor?s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience leading / driving process improvement initiatives across the site and/or business
Practical experience in organizational management, MRP systems and schedulingdesired. Project leadership and experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Functional certifications desired (CPIM, CPCM, APICS and PMI)
Solid understanding of SAP
Expert skills in MS excel
Excellent organizational skills and proven results in process improvements
