ABOUT THIS POSITION

Position: Master Systems Engineer - Training

Functional Description: Training Device Acceptance testing; proposal technical evaluationsupport; contract negotiations support; contractor training team coordination with government training personnel (NAWC TSD)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education: BS (engineering) AND 8 years of relevant experience

Required Experience: Master Subject Matter Expert (greater than 8 years relevant experience)

Required Security Clearance: Top Secret

Required Skills: Master level experience in training system engineering, acquisition, and life-cycle support.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Master level engineering experience in Navy ISR&T platform training and training system simulations; AAS training system procurement and implementation experience to include: providing a total system perspective across the entire lifecycle of the AAS training system (user needs, material solution analysis, technology development, engineering, manufacturing development, test and evaluation, production, deployment, and sustainment); develop and maintain AAS training system acquisition engineering documentation (Statement of work preparation, program acquisition timeline development; DOORS administration, CDRL preparation and deliverable evaluation, Engineering Change proposal preparation, proposal technical evaluation documents using SEER-SIM application and products, trainer test plans and test evaluations); Experience working in the special access program (SAP) environment; proficient in use of industry standard software tools; decision making skills that promote working autonomously from government oversight when managing and executing projects, tasks and work assignments; public speaking and briefing skills; ability to manage, motivate, and lead teams.
