Job Title: Marketo Specialist

Job Location: Irvine, CA

Job Type: Contract – 12 Months / Contract to Hire / Direct Hire

Job Description:

  • Ability to drive end-to-end e-commerce and marketing email campaigns
  • Strong interpersonal skills to handle discussions with Clients and other teams like internal marketing team, analytics and product team
  • Deep understanding of best practices and proven track record of launching successful email programs
  • Excellent requirement gathering and analytical skills
  • Day to day self-management of commitments and priorities
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Highly analytical/data minded with the ability to convert performance insights into actionable decisions
  • Responsible for producing standards-based, semantic markup and coding for responsive web design and email-blasts.
  • Staging, testing, and deploying campaigns in Marketo.
  • Resourceful self-starter/problem solver
  • Continually optimize email performance through iterative testing
  • Continually reassess strategies to drive profitable growth and contribute to a roadmap of initiatives to enable the defined strategic objectives
  • Run ad hoc analyses and collaborate with analytics and product team to optimize performance

Mandatory Skills:

  • Campaign deployment in Marketo, HTML (ability to hand-code an email) including HTML cords Attribute and CSS/CSS3, Javascript.
  • Knowledge on Adobe suites

Qualifications and Skills Needed:

  • Overall 6+ years of IT experience
  • 2+ years relevant email experience, preferable in e-commerce space
  • Experience in campaign deployment in Marketo
  • Efficient skills with design tools (Adobe Suite)
  • Strong proficiency in HTML (ability to hand-code an email) including HTML coords Attribute and CSS/CSS3
  • Javascript experience is an advantage
  • Hands on experience in performance optimization, A/B and multivariate testing
  • BA/BS or higher degree in communications, marketing, business or related field
