Job Purpose

Televerde has kicked off a business transformation program that will completely overhaul our marketing technology capabilities and we’re looking for an experienced leader to help drive this change.  The MarTech Operations Director will be responsible for leading a small team to configure, connect, and implement our new Marketing Technology solution set.  Designed to support the demand generation and telesales programs we run for our clients, the first release phase will focus on the successful implementation of an industry-leading marketing automation platform, sales engagement platform, predictive dialer, and CRM.  Future releases will include predictive analytics, funnel metrics, and other campaign optimization and measurement capabilities. 

The ideal candidate will have deep experience integrating and configuring new marketing technologies within in a global enterprise B2B company, as well as designing nurturing and calling campaigns.  Experience working within an agency model is highly preferred

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and train a team of developers and marketing technologists
  • Lead small team of consultants and internal staff to install, configure and optimize Televerde’s new marketing technology set of solutions on time and within budget
  • Manage team of API developers to develop connectors into client systems
  • Oversee Televerde’s MarTech professional services business.  This team of Marketo, Eloqua, and Salesforce.com administrators are resources hired by our clients to support their marketing program needs and also ensure the successful integration of Televerde driven campaigns with our client’s systems. 
  • Provide thought leadership around Marketing Technologylandscape and innovative omni-channel capabilities.  Stay current on the rapidly changing Marketing Technology field
  • Partner closely with Product Management team to understand business requirements and to execute product roadmap on our demand generation and other sales solutions services

Education and Experience

  • BS or BA degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Marketing, or similar.
  • 5+ years with technology consulting or digital marketing leadership
  • Minimum 3 years in an operational role working with marketing automation, CRM, and other marketing technologies such as Salesforce.com, Marketo, Outreach, and Eloqua
  • Marketo, Eloqua, and/or Salesforce.com certification
  • 8+ years successfully leading teams and managing projects
  • Experience working in a call center or marketing agency environment, preferred

  • Balance of Marketing and Technology functional skills.  Able to understand the vision and capability needs and translate into Technology requirements
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong sense of urgency and comfortable with aggressive timelines
  • Deep interest and understanding of marketing technology vendors and applications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
