Successfully represent the Marketing department on the cross-functional software category team with members from Engineering, Sales, Finance, Industrial Design.

  • Bringing in the voice of the consumer, representing all of marketing, gaining close alignment with Marketing & Sales leadership
  • Influencing product and software experiences road maps, helping to prioritize what we should launch vs what we can launch
  • Translating software features and capabilities into key consumer benefits / value propositions
  • Delivering a 'better with time' marketing strategy, capturing how software enhancements help deliver improved product experiences
  • Actively contributing to the Software long-term strategy
  • Bringing input from the regional Sales theaters to the team on what experiences are resonating, what competitors are focusing on, etc.

Contribute to the hardware marketing plans and objectives so that we integrate this part of the value proposition. Translate those plans into prioritized recommendation for the Software experience road maps

  • Working closely with the Marketing Planners for all categories (Speakers, Home Entertainment, Health, Headphones, Frames) to understand 'hardware' strategy and build recommendations in return on how Software can help achieve the strategy
  • Turning 'hardware' planning objectives into priorities and direction for software focus and development
  • Driving integration of Software propositions into the hardware marketing and communication plans
  • Using consumer and market insights to influence plans and road map; and to educate teams on the what and why

Deliver Software expertise for the Marketing and Sales organizations, becoming the key software resource for Global Sales

  • Creating tools and communication flow to keep teams informed
  • Translating software experiences into actionable items for the Sales teams
  • Translating software experiences into implications for communication and marketing
  • Supporting sales and key reseller meetings, developing market and competitive analysis packages
