The Marketing Senior Program Manager supports key cross marketing activities such as major external and internal events, product launches, and strategic initiatives. This individual is responsible for planning, organizing, managing and executing projects from beginning to end. S(he) will collect objectives, deadlines, and budgets requirements.  S(he) will also assign individuals or entire teams to tasks within the project, while creating and managing detailed schedules throughout the duration of the project. In some instances, the marketing project manager may responsible for overall budget management and coordination. S(he) plays a central role in risk analysis and should be able to identify potential roadblocks or bottlenecks related to resources, timelines, and budgets, and report these potential issues to executive leaders, as necessary. The role reports to the VP of Product Marketing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project manage cross-department teams in support of major industry events such as RSA and Gartner Security and Risk Management Summit and internal events such as Sales Kickoff and Forcepoint Leadership Forum
  • Project manage cross-departmental teams as a part of product launches, providing tracking, reporting and communication on required deliverables to ensure they are completed on time and within established processes 
  • Deliver cross-departmental project management and support for both short term and long term initiatives
  • Actively partner with related groups across product marketing, growth marketing, corporate communications, customer marketing, events marketing, and creatives services to facilitate and manage cross-team efforts to turn insights into practice 
  • Provide on-locationevents logistical support as needed

?The ideal candidate should fulfill the following requirements:

  • Expert organizational skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Outstanding communication and influence skills
  • Knowledge of project management processes, workflow and terminology; PMP certification is preferred
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, and Excel
  • Familiarity with process management and collaboration tools such as Workfront, Asana, Trello, Slack, Basecamp, Microsoft Teams, and so forth
  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Four to six years of marketing project management experience, ideally within B2B, high-tech organizations
