The Senior Marketing Manager reports directly to the Regional Marketing Director (RMD) and is a driven individual who works with the Regional Marketing Director (RMD), Regional Business Development Director (RBDD) and regional leaders to contribute to the growth and development of BDO in a variety of ways. The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and analyzing marketing strategies, including integrated marketing campaigns that use a variety of tactics (digital, print, social, etc.) to meet business goals for multiple offices within a region.
Qualifications Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or other related field required
- MBA or other advanced level degree preferred

Experience:
- Seven (7) or more years of marketing-related experience required
- Experience working in the accounting, financial consulting, business advisory, and/or professional services preferred
- Prior experience working at one of the Big Four or a national / regional accounting firm highly preferred
- Prior experience managing marketing professionals preferred

Software:
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- CRM experience preferred


Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand and communicate BDO’s business, marketplace and value proposition
- Knowledge of contact management software including update, maintenance and list generation.
- Solid writing and editing skills with a focus on developing sales messages with impact
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Driven self-starter with a proactive approach to serving professionals at all levels in a client-oriented environment
- Excellent project management skills
- Capable of working in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as the ability to present and facilitate
- Extensive knowledge in the development, management and execution of sales and marketing processes including marketing and BD planning, event planning, account planning management, marketing strategy and development
- Ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, marshal resources and manage change in a matrix environment
- Capable of leading and managing remote and local teams of people to accomplish desired results
- Excellent project management skills
- Capacity to travel to the offices within the region on a periodic basis to meet with marketing personnel, participate in events, and attend regional and national meetings, as necessary
