This position (office location flexible), is responsible for providing strategic marketing direction, thought leadership and demand generation for CohnReznick’s Industry groups.

Industry depth and breadth professional that is unafraid to think differently, always thinks innovatively, and keeps current on the latest trends.  A team player who can creatively build demand generation programs tied to industry business issues, trends and operational issues. 

The Industry Team Lead will work closely with local marketing staff and industry and business line leaders, including Business Development Executives, to execute strategies, campaigns and projects. Specific marketing activities include proposal oversight, events, thought leadership, media relations, online marketing/customer relationship management database management, messaging and collateral.

This individual also will be responsible for ROI for all aspects of each industry’s marketing strategy, ensuring processes and communications are maintained proactively. In this capacity, the Industry team lead will work closely with internal leadership and the extended team of integrated marketing service providers to develop and execute marketing programs and campaigns across paid, earned and owned channels, including messaging, advertising, thought leadership, media relations, online marketing, social media, events and collateral.

Required Skills

As an Industry Team Lead at CohnReznick, you will contribute to the growth and development of our organization in a variety of ways, including:

  • Support the development of marketing strategies with budget coordination for designated industry, to include all practice lines (Tax, Audit, Advisory)

  • Research market trends, competitor positioning and prospects to help generate pipeline activity

  • Provide industry insight and work in conjunction with the marketing operations team to produce thought leadership and campaign production for digital, social and print materials

  • Focus on demand generation activity helping to create and develop sales/marketing pipeline while acting as lead on key pursuits

  • Communicate, write, and strategize effectively (both in verbal and written form), including writing skills that translate complex concepts into easy to understand and compelling messages to support a point of view to practice leaders and audience

  • Develop marketing strategies and plans that deliver positive results in brand awareness and revenue growth

  • In coordination with the proposal team, act as Client Driver to lead the process for Request for Proposal (RFP) and proposal development

  • Pull and forecast industry analytics utilizing sales pipeline

  • Develop metrics and KPIs to measure success, including campaigns and events

  • Apply applicable practice and solution offerings to industry team members

  • Work with operations team to facilitate thought leadership and campaign production for print, Internet and web-based materials

 Skills and Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of the business and its strategies, with a focus on industries
  • Ability to break down an industry value chain and identify Audit, Tax and Advisory opportunities
  • Consultative approach to working with marketing and client service professionals at all levels, including leadership
  • High level of comfort with ambiguity and fluid priorities; ability to manage multiple and complex priorities
  • Strong persuasive communication skills; able to gain consensus through influence and pivot when warranted
  • Proven success in the management of integrated marketing programs and discrete marketing projects
  • Strategic and innovative thinker with the ability to “roll-up his/hers sleeves” to make things happen

Qualifications

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on marketing, program and campaign development, thought leadership strategy and planning
  • Undergraduate degree, ideally with a focus in Marketing, communications, business or a related business field
  • Deep understanding of integrated marketing and Go-To-Market strategies and how they come together to provide measurable results
  • Previous experience in B2B marketing
  • Experience working with sales enablement programs and/or strategic selling programs
  • Superior Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts (e.g., Marketo, Microsoft CRM)
  • Deep understanding of Social and Digital tools (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook)
  • Master’s Degree, MBA preferable
  • Big 4 or Tier 2 Accounting, Tax and Advisory work experience preferred
  • Experience with Real Estate, Affordable Housing, Renewables Energy, Financial Services preferred
