The Marketing Researcher will be an integral part of the marketing team, and will design, execute and deliver high-impact primary research – both quantitative and qualitative.

This role will be a part of the Marketing Insights and Analytics team, focused on brand measurement and sentiment tracking among consumers and specialty audiences. This role will partner deeply with brand/marketing leadership, and work collaboratively with product/UX research to represent the voice of the user.

This position is full-time and will be based in Menlo Park.

Required Skills:

  1. Design and execute innovative quantitative and qualitative research to understand perceptions of Facebook’s brand

  2. Translate research findings into actionable insights that inform the development of brand/communication strategy, as well as marketing campaigns that will reach hundreds of millions of people worldwide.

  3. Manage ad hoc research into Facebook’s brand reputation, values and communications.

  4. Work alongside creatives, strategists, engineers, designers and producers to help bring Facebook’s brand to life.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of research experience with extensive background in Quantitative and Qualitative research, specifically in brand tracking.

  2. Experience in a consumer technology company, with an understanding of social platforms and mobile ecosystems.

  3. Experience using primary and secondary research to influence decision-making, executives and colleagues.

  4. Knowledge of brand and messaging research, particularly in support of creative development/ideation.

  5. Experience directing research agencies/vendors to deliver results.

  6. Ability to execute quantitative research independently, including questionnaire design, fielding, analytics, and reporting.

  7. Experience with qualitative methodologies, from ethnography/IDI, focus groups, online communities and UX testing.

  8. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
