Job Summary

CenturyLink is searching for a collaborative, self-motivated Marketing Programs Manager to join the company’s ITS Solutions Marketing organization. The Marketing Programs Manager will support strategic programs to drive thought leadership for CenturyLink through customer and employee advocacy. In support of the customer reference program, the Marketing Programs Manager will work closely with field sales, marketing and product teams to identify and recruit customer’s to participate in co-marketing programs, capturing and developing customer success stories that highlight the business value of a solution. This leader manages opportunities that allow CenturyLink customers to be positioned as innovators and thought leaders by promoting customer success through various marketing campaigns and initiatives

Job Description

  • Develop relationships with CenturyLink field marketing and sales managers and customers to identify customers willing to develop co-marketing activities

  • Develop and implement co-marketing plans for strategic customers to validate CenturyLink’s solutions

  • Develop and promote customer success via high-quality content assets – press releases, blogs, case studies and videos, and various other activities – and drive the promotional strategy across marketing channels

  • Manage a business unit wide speakers bureau program to increase CenturyLink’s presence at key industry events

  • Maintain a yearly calendar of industry speaking engagements, manage submission process for submitting CFPs,

  • Drive execution of speaking events and external and promotion strategies to maximize industry impact

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years b2b marketing/communications experience, ideally with 3-5 customer reference marketing experience

  • Proven experience running omni-channel b2b communications campaigns, with experience driving content development in digital, video and written content

  • Highly collaborative with the ability to build strong relationships across the organization and with external customers

  • Excellent written/oral communications, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Driven to meet or exceed expectations; careful attention to detail

  • Analytical, with experience in gathering key metrics and applying insights and the ability to create reports, snapshots and dashboards to highlight program success and return

  • Consistent development of high-quality customer assets, stories and sales tools including case studies, videos and presentations that effectively support sales and marketing objectives

  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as PC and Mac operation. Experience working with Salesforce.com a plus.

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing or related field
