Essential Functions and Responsibilities


  • Develop program briefs as needed and collaborate with both internal client teams and external vendors for execution
  • Create compelling and dynamic content that will build and sustain program awareness
  • Contribute to and advise clients and stakeholders on program implementation, including communications, ongoing project delivery, content development and results
  • Partner with clients to establish priorities and program schedules related to the above
  • Report program results and offer solutions for optimization; analyse metrics to understand successes, setbacks and opportunities and communicate same to client
  • Use creative means to plan, organize, and implement a range of social media programs
  • Develop, edit, and manage editorial calendars to send to handle owners, including content for posting
  • Post high impact content to identified industry forums/blogs, as well as to client communities
  • Gather content and create social advertisements
  • Repurpose and create content for key deliverables based on campaign needs. Revise, edit and QA content as needed
  • Curate advertisements for target audience
  • Provide strategic insight for programs related to assigned business


Required Experience, Skills and Education



  • Degree in related field



  • Minimum of three (3) - five (5) years’ experience in relevant role
  • Project managementexperiencerequired
  • Experience working with or strong understanding of Google Ad Words
  • Experience working in a content management system/blogging platform and basic understanding of HTML and email marketing (WordPress & Exact Target experience a plus)
  • Understanding of the social media universe, including leading and niche channels (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, blogs, etc.)
  • Knowledge of social media best practices, tools, and metrics and an ability to adapt to emerging platforms
  • Knowledge of digital writing best practices. Exceptional grammar.
  • Experience planning, testing, launching, monitoring, optimizing and measuring social mediacampaigns
  • Experience leveraging social mediatechnologies such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs, and working knowledge of web analytics software
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software
  • Strong ability to multitask, plan, and organize, including an ability to develop and manage detailed project plans and editorial calendars
  • Ability to switch priorities at a moment’s notice if needed to accomplish program goals
  • Flexible and solution-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills
