Job Summery:

As the Marketing Operations Manager you will support the full marketing team through project management, system integration, and program management and measurement functions. A critical member of the marketing team, the Marketing Operations Manager will maximize usage of program functionality to optimize marketing programs and correctly track interactions across marketing channels, aligning data, processes, and reporting. Candidates must have a strong understanding of marketing, sales and training tactics, and the ability to leverage marketing technologies to execute and report on key programs and initiatives. The proven ability to collaborate within the organization and outside (including marketing technology vendors) is required for this role. The ideal candidate is curious, service-oriented, data-driven, and committed to operational excellence across a wide variety of marketing programs.

How you will contribute:

  • Support and oversee day-to-day operational effectiveness of key marketing programs, while working to continuously improve workflows and processes
  • As needed, track and escalate issues, working across teams to drive resolution
  • Document program requirements and interactions and work to optimize usage and program efficiencies
  • Ensure adherence to CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR and other applicable compliance related regulations impacting marketing and communications programs
  • Enhance request and prioritization queues across the team
  • Deliver regular and ad hoc reports/dashboards, layouts, templates, workflows, projects, and new features/integrations to support marketing functions
  • Contribute to the roadmap of features and improvements based on Partner and subscriber feedback
  • Identify trends and share insights across the marketing team and broader organization
  • Actively participate in communities for our most significant platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and others
  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance
  • Work closely with Sales Operations and other internal teams to support the establishment of shared benchmarks to meet revenue goals

Requirements:

  • 5 + years of experience in marketing, operations, or program management
  • Proven experience driving the launch, measurement and optimization of marketing, sales and/or training programs
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capacity are crucial
  • Demonstrated high degree of initiative, self-motivation, resourcefulness, and a desire to improve processes
  • Effective at driving cross team collaboration and building consensus
  • Understanding of key system interactions to meet support, training and troubleshooting needs
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external parties
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • ExactTarget/Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar e-mail or marketing automation platform experience
  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM, Google Analytics, and Unbounce systems a plus
