Summary
The Marketing Manager is an experienced marketing professional who collaboratively develops and maintains high-impact, cost-effective marketing assets and programs support Varonis end-user, install base and channel/field marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
Manage and drive lead-generating marketing activities for regional field and inside sales teams.
Activity types include trade shows, webinars, email campaigns, co-marketing activities with channel partners.
Leverage marketing automation tools for campaign awareness and demand generation, and communications.
Localization and adaptations of programs to fit market variations while maintaining branding guidelines.
Own the entire process of program execution including venue selection, contract negotiation, speaker acquisition, onsite registration and management, tradeshow logistics and booth attendance, webinar setup, list pulls, email blasts, budget reconciliation, list uploads, e-marketing systems management, etc.
Provide strategic planning insight to Sales on the appropriate marketing activities for the various stages of the sales cycle: lead generation, opportunity creation and deal movement, and deal close.
Work closely with Technical Marketing and Marketing Communications to create campaign/product content and assets for delivery in marketing events/programs.
Serve as the field marketing point-of-contact for the various marketing campaigns and product initiatives.
Being the main point of contact (phone/in-person/email) for any internal or external requests for marketing activities.
Reviewing with the team and deciding if it is something Varonis should pursue.
Engage partners for joint marketing activities and explore opportunities to market with, and through, them to the ultimate end user.
Measure and report performance against established metrics.
Requirements
3 – 5 years of experience in program/event marketing role, ideally supporting a direct, enterprise sales force in the technology industry. Experience in related positions and in other industries, including roles with marketing vendors and agencies will be in consideration.
Knowledge and experience in building and executing marketing plans and communications programs.
Experience in managing the logistics and details associated with the execution of marketing programs and events.
Ability to be innovative with respect to program creation and problem resolution, and process-oriented with respect to marketing operations and execution workflows.
Ability to interface with all levels in a Sales organization including sales reps, tech consultants, regional managers, and senior leadership.
Knowledge of marketing processes, marketing automation and e-marketing systems.
Experience with lead scoring and nurturing methodologies is a plus.
