The basic function of this position is to support the Assistant Director of Service Line and Institutional Marketing to lead the development and implementation ofcomprehensive marketing programs to support the business development strategies and management objectives for multiple clinical divisions and JHM institutes and entities. Leads team to develop and implement marketing programs to support the business goals of institutional marketing clients. Efforts support increase in employment or trial inquiries, applications and awareness, market share, patient visits, clinical activity and/or revenue growth. Supports development of strategies based on environmental analysis, market research, competitive analysis, operational availability. Leads strategies while maintaining the integrity of the overall JHM organizational goals. Develops and monitors employee recruitment, clinical trial recruitment or other institutional or product line marketing budgets that are linked to key tactics. Oversees the required marketing infrastructures and support systems, such as call center, CRM and search engine marketing vendors and processes.
Leads and coordinates direct reports and other team members assigned to the project, vendors, consultants, fellows and interns. Integrates information and strategies withother Marketing and Communications staff in an effort to develop a seamless marketing system. Initiates market/competitive analysis and supporting research and data. Initiates public relations tactics with Media Relations. Develops communications tactics in coordination with Editorial Services and acts as the liaison with the product line. Serves on task forces and committees and makes internal presentations as required. Responsible for Marketing Division projects as needed

Bachelor's degree required with advanced course work in marketing, advertising, healthcare communication. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 7-10 years of in-depth experience in product line marketing. Experience witha complex medical tertiary care delivery systems, primary care and managed care preferred in the field of communications/public relations, marketing or advertising.Agency experience desirable.
Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Excellent presentation skills. Personal computer skills required. Self-starter. Ability to interact with senior leadership and high level external contacts. Ability to perform well in a collaborative environment. Ability to manage complex group processes using effective matrix management, negotiation and leadership skills.
