Job Description:

Position Overview Siemens Building Technologies is looking for a highly motivated Strategy Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategy development initiatives, growth programs, and identify innovations for the Solution & Service business lines within Building Technologies Division Americas. This position will focus on creating, implementing, and rolling out programs to support the Siemens digitalization strategy for Building Automation, Fire and Security Solutions & Service in a B2B context targeting customers across several key verticals.   Responsibilities  This individual will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives: 

  • Analyze market, industry, and technology trends; identify relevant threats and opportunities; recommend changes to portfolio, marketing and business development strategies based on fact-based research and business case development
  • Create strategies and business plans alongside portfolio leads and marketing &strategy partners
  • Oversee creation, delivery, and execution of marketing plans
  • Collaborate with sales and portfolio partners to develop strategic partnership activities
  • Gather and analyze customer insight and propose and drive portfolio enhancements
  • Lead, develop and execute new concepts, business models, channels and partners to position business as innovator and leader.
  • Lead thought leadership activities and content
  • Create actionable competitor analysis
  • Support innovation programs
  • Manage and execute complex primary and secondary research projects
  • Develop and articulate brand positioning and competitive differentiation to guide communications activities
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of strategies, programs, marketing plans.

  Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience  

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or other related field
  • MBA preferred
  • 7 years+ experience in marketing
  • Unique blend of business and technical savvy; previous experience in the field of Smart Buildings, technology or IT preferred
  • Highly skilled at synthesizing large sets of data in order to drive compelling strategies and business cases
  • Adept at working with strategy frameworks
  • Strong customer focus; ability to develop customer specific value propositions
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships as well as influence others and  drive results
  • Ability to lead market research projects
  • Big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality; highly creative
  • Experience with recommending and applying Innovation frameworks/concepts
  • Ability to work in fast-paced matrix environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines
  • Expert understanding and application of strategy & marketing concepts, methods and tools
  • Excellent verbal /written communication skills.
