Job Description:

This marketing role will involve all aspects of marketing content creation and maintenance for HEEDS Design Space Exploration software, with an emphasis on material to drive awareness via marketing campaigns and social media. This person will work cross-functionally with core business units to ensure successful implementation of marketing messaging, positive customer and prospect experiences that garner revenue and market share growth in the design space exploration segment. Will work with executives to identify, develop, and implement effective and productive marketing strategies and plans. This person will report to the Vice President of HEEDS Global Portfolio Development.


Prefer Detroit location, but open to anywhere in the USA



Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain content on internal and external websites including blogs, community sites, and newsletters

• Develop marketing material (presentations, email, videos, case studies, training manuals, banners, ads)

• Coordinate and represent solution at HEEDS tradeshows, events, and conferences

• Work with sales and channel team to ensure material developed can be used effectively

• Enable sales team to quickly find customer references and materials

• Ensure marketing material is being used effectively to close business

• Work with the technical marketing organization for sales kit development and campaign support

• Support marketing programs with content creation; logistics; external promotion

• This is an individual contributor role
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision

• Serve as website administrator


Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• Bachelors’ Degree in Advertising 

• 5+ years Graphic Design experience

• Strong written and oral communication skills for internal and external customers, including the ability to develop clear messaging concepts and author appropriate content to support marketing execution and sales enablement
• Self-motivated and self-starter

• Knowledge of marketing principles and practices including inbound marketing tactics
• Ability to collaborate with and influence others; capable of working in cross functional teams
• Ability to manage programs/projects, including definition, timing, resources, deliverables, and resolution
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative
