Position:Strategically develop and tactically execute a calendar of relevant conferences, symposiums and events to educate providers and referral sources on eating disorders and increase awareness of Veritas Collaborative and thestandard of treatment care delivered to patients and their families.  With the Chief Growth Officer, conduct market research, analyse results and continuously evolves strategies to ensure market penetration and maximize ROI onmarketing initiatives.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Work with Chief Growth Officer to create an annual strategy for all company education, awareness andindustry engagement activities 
  • Utilize and analyze data from market research, surveys and feedback to shape strategic direction of marketing initiatives
  • Plan, develop, execute activities for targeted audiences to enhance Veritas program awareness, impact andreputation
  • Educate professionals in the health industry about eating disorders
  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager – Brand Marketing/Content and Communications to coordinate key activities and messaging with digital and offline marketing to ensure a coordinated internal and external effort
  • Collaborate with Outreach leadership to promote and educate the referral sources of our program andtreatment plans. 
  • Work with Outreach team to plan local market activities that interface with activities at a national or larger geo level to ensure a holistic approach to referral source engagement and inquiry generation
  • Collaborate with Education & Research Manager in annual calendar development of education efforts, as well as education requests that come directly from referral sources or partner providers
  • Maintain referral source website content to provide relevant and updated information and resources for this important partner segment
  • Serve as primary external and internal point-of-contact for national events including conferences, symposia, training events, etc.   
  • Work with third party vendors to create and implement events in line with Veritas’ brand
  • Communicate with key parties internally and externally regarding key event details
  • Ensure that tone, theme and message of all activities are consistent with the Veritas brand
  • Represent and portray Veritas Collaborative externally with the highest level of ethical and moral esteem 
  • Coordinate and manage all event hotel and travel arrangements for speakers, as needed and ExecutiveAssistants if Executive team members are presenting at events or conferences


  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of experience in planning and executing conferences, events andpresentations
  • Marketing experience, preferred

  • Proficient in Office 2013 products 
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
