Olam Spices & Vegetable Ingredients, a Leading Global Supply Chain Management Company of food ingredients is seeking a self-motivated individual for a Marketing Manager position located in Fresno, California. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking and possess exceptional analytical skills.


The Marketing Manager will function in a B2B product and brand management function in the following areas:

  • Manage all external marketingcampaigns (digital, email distributions, web updates, direct mail, etc.)
  • Execution and implementation of strategic marketing and communications plans across all sales channels including online eCommerce Customer Portal
  • Maintain marketing content and calendars; oversee omni-channelmarketing platforms
  • Strong understanding and command of acquisition and retention initiatives, online/social media, direct marketing, public relations, community involvement, advertising and brand management.
  • Interact directly with product line managers, R&D, agricultural operations and support staff to identify new marketing opportunities; respond to needs of the sales organization
  • Track marketingcampaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing activities
  • Support public relations through researching, writing, and editing press releases
  • Align brand positioning, value propositions, messaging and creative strategy by understanding and refining senior leaderships goals and objectives
  • Maintain the master brand image, identity and communication style as a whole while understanding how to position it to communicate effectively within Olam
  • Ability to push boundaries, try new and innovative ways of thinking about and doing things, grow new businesses within the company
  • Evaluate and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product lineobjectives
  • Come to the table with ideas for the most effective messages and strategies for the marketplace. Identify research opportunities and key metrics
  • Participate in strategic discussions and provide creative solutions
  • Coordinate and manage agency support
  • Plan and oversee on-site event logistics; organize resources and materials, attend events, perform setup/break down, act as brand point of contact during events
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and emerging technologies with regards toB2B ecommerce, SEO, analytics, mobile and social



All applicants must meet the following criteria for consideration:

  • 4-year degree in marketing, business or related field;
  • 5 - 7 years’ relevant experience.
  • Digitalmarketingexperience, with knowledge of marketing tools that help in demand generation, customer segmentation, helping in conversion and salessupport
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
  • Social medial management and digitalgraphic designexperience
  • Coding experience is preferred
  • Project Management – Experience planning and implementing projects that support the marketing function
  • Interpersonal skills – Work well with others, communicate effectively with those around you
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Planning/Organizing – Prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently while working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability Build and nurture relationships with key influencers and organizations
  • Proficiency withMS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to confidently handle multiple projects simultaneously and underdeadlines
