Eurofins Agroscience Services, a global service provider for the environmental science industry, has an immediate opening for a Marketing Manager in North America. As the Marketing Manager, you will play the critical role of aligning the marketing strategy to achieve business results.

Reporting to the Vice President, you will work hand in hand with the Director of Business Development to lead the creation and implementation of the marketing strategy which includes development of existing market share and identification of new emerging markets.

Part of the Global or world-wide Marketing team and work in close connection with the colleagues in Europe LATAM etc.

The role:

Your duties will include:

Marketing Strategy –

Development and execution of business segment marketing strategy to support commercial and operational objectives. Leads continuous improvement efforts to optimize client experience, and to assure quality of leads delivered to the sales team.

Global Brand Building –

Understand brand equity, how to use it, and build it consistently over time. Know and reinforce brand standards. Communicate compelling brand propositions and reasons to believe.

Market Analysis –

Coordinates execution of outbound and inbound demand generation campaigns to support marketing objectives; performs analyses on marketing data from multiple sources including the company’s CRM system, web site traffic analysis tools, and automated demand generation systems; establishes information requirements and management reports that support marketing information needs and objectives, and uses that data to develop plans for market segmentation, customer profiling and other marketing strategies.

Digital Marketing –

Social media management, writing of online content, creation and effective delivery of email marketing campaigns, producing analytics and reports, updating the company website, assisting in the implementation of new Company websites where needed, ensuring SEO is maximised

Creative & Offline-

Designing hard copy and online material, liaising with suppliers, arranging and organising key events, managing marketing budget, working in conjunction with the Vice President to create and deliver a marketing plan.

PR & Communications-

Producing relevant written content, proof reading of presentations and material, working in partnership with clusters and regions to promote services, writing and distributing press releases.

Specific to the role:

  • Communicates clearly the brand’s equity and objectives to internal and external audiences

  • Develops localized brand elements that are directive, compelling and tell a distinctive story

  • Creating content, collateral and branded materials that will assist with the sales focus, supporting lead generation for the sales team

  • Ensure all content is consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and social promotion

  • Work directly with customers and sales team to create unique content

  • Plan and execute campaigns within the marketing budget

  • Providing regular reports on marketing activity

  • Managing the company database

  • Managing the social mediachannels

  • Co-ordinating the group wide events schedule; managing event calendars

  • Utilising PR opportunities to increase media exposure

  • Assist in proof-reading, editing and writing articles and advertisements for press or online publishing

  • Maintain the company’s website

  • Contribute and produce high quality new market research and analysis of competitors

  • Anticipates new and emerging opportunities through interpretation of intelligence

  • Continuously monitors results against KPIs and makes adjustments to plans for measurable improvements

Minimum Qualifications


The successful Marketing Manager will have the following demonstrable skills:

  • Have a relevant degree (Business / Marketing an advantage)

  • 8-10 years relevant B2B marketing experience

  • Excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail

  • Have experience using Social Media for PR/Marketing purposes

  • Proficient IT skills including MS Office

  • Be a confident user of MS-CRM

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to listen to internal and external feedback and adapt plans and/or activities

  • Ability to organize, oversee, and manage multiple project simultaneously
