These Xicom High Power Amplifiers (HPAs) are in use in critical communications links on the ground, in the air and on the sea; theysupport fixed traditional and direct-to-home broadcast,mobilenews gathering, transportable and flyaway systems, secure high data rate communications, and broadband access over sitcom.


  • Create a marketing vision for Comtech Xicom and develop marketing plans
  • Articulate features benefits and competitive differentiators for CXTI products
  • Manage branding, PR, advertising,digitalmarketing collateral development
    • Branding – establish brands for CXTI division and products.  Create outreach programs
    • PR – Identify opportunities for PR, speaking engagements, create white papers, post digital content, press releases
    • Electronic media – ramp-up LinkedIn, social media, e-marketing and web-based activities.  Manage a database of leads and customers for periodic electronic promotions.  Leverage Xicom activities over to CEFD
    • Advertising – Create concepts, identify target publications, negotiate contracts
    • Collateral – create brochures, datasheets, presentation templates as required
    • Events – In coordination with CEFD, oversee Xicom trade show activities
  • Manage budget & resources
  • Represent CXTI.  Primary POC for media and industry associations
  • Consistent with Corporate branding, develop look/feel for Xicom including colors, styles, images, templates, newsletters, e-mails


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Constant Contact &social media
    • Ideally familiar with web-design, PhotoShop & graphic art software
  • An experienced marcom professional with a technical background, preferably in the satellite communications industry, terrestrial (microwave, fiber) markets or IP networking
  • A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus
  • On a regular basis, must be able to travel domestically & globally
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadline requirements
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical journals, financialreports and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to prepare speeches and articles for publication that confirm to prescribed style and format.  Ability to effectively present information to top management, public/industry groups, and/or the Board.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and five years of professional experience in marketing, marketing communications, and/or product marketing
  • Extensive experience with marketing technology products in a B2B environment
  • Familiar with a variety of marketing and communication concepts, practices, and procedures
