We are hiring for a Marketing Manager, Assisted Reproductive Technololgy (ART). In this role, you will plan, develop, organize and implement global marketing strategies, brand campaigns, initiatives, and tactical programs to achieve sales targets and optimize Irvine Scientific's business opportunities with ART Media globally. The Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring that the products, services and product lines that fall under their domain resonate with current and potential customers. To do so, this professional will continuously monitor marketing trends and keep a close eye on competitive products in the marketplace. You will also develop global strategies and tactics for dealing with the opportunities and threats in the assigned primary markets to ensure increased market share for all ART products. You will also serve as theinternal expert for the ART Media product lines and provide strategic guidance and direction for the positioning of Irvine Scientific's products. The Marketing Manager, ART will identify, evaluate, justify and recommend the development of products to improve ART Media product line business opportunities in the market.

  • Develop and implement long-range and short-range marketing plans utilizing a matrix approach for regional implementation
  • Responsible for maintenance and growth of gross profit for the ART Media product lines
  • Lead Product Managers to achieve revenue targets by product group, measuring account conversions
  • Monitor key performance indicators for marketing programs and report the metrics, along with recommendations on new promotions, to the management team on a monthly basis
  • Recommend product / project modifications or improvements based on market research, sales personnel input, market/customer feedback, process improvement and cost [COGS] improvement
  • Recommend and justify new products, including market surveys, sales forecasting and field test evaluations to support business proposals
  • Interface with consultants on new products as appropriate
  • Develop new creative marketing programs, strategies and tactics to ensure that all sales channels are maximizing opportunities to position ART Media product lines to achieve business objectives
  • Provide management and strategy support on all content development; copywriting, social, marketing and marketing communications efforts to support ART
  • Maintain regular communication and contact with field sales personnel, professional organizations and customers to keep abreast of marketing trends and evaluate effectiveness of marketing business activities
  • Facilitate the day to day management of ART Media business initiatives in theappropriate markets
  • Maintain a current and complete understanding of the assigned markets and assess trends/dynamics of the segments to proactively position Irvine Scientific
  • Gather competitive information and evaluate the potential on Irvine Scientific's products
  • Ensure that market plans are understood by the sales force and distributors, resulting in successful implementation of programs

Experience/ Education:

  • BA/BS degree in Biology, Chemistry or Marketing
  • MBA preferred
  • MUST HAVE 5 + years of experience in the Assisted Reproductive Technology field
  • 6+ years of experience with technical background and/or sales experience appropriate tothe specific needs of the product line
  • Supervisory experience
  • Product Development experience or equivalent
  • Product Management experience
