We are looking for a dynamic marketing leader to accelerate the development of a marketing strategy that’s aimed at generating leads from third-party partnerships.

The Marketing Manager, Acquisition Marketing is the acquisition lead for a fast-growing, highly-impactful channel in Retail Marketing. We are looking for an marketer who gets excited about working with a broad range of partners, internally and externally and who has proven success driving lead volume and conversions through a B:B/partnership relationship.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Retail Marketing, this role will drive a high performing engagement strategy that inspires partners and affiliates to consider Edelman Financial Engines the brokerage of choice for their referrals. This role has high visibility to both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the company’s custodial program marketing strategy to drive revenue across the B2B2C funnel
  • Ensure that Edelman Financial Engines has a consistent and distinctive voice with our partners
  • Lead internal and external agencies to create compelling B2B sales materials and collateral
  • Develop compelling and actionable seminar and event materials
  • Partner with Product and Technology leadership to influence the product strategy and roadmap, and to articulate a compelling product and innovation narrative

The Right Candidate

The right candidate is energized and ruthless in their championing for Edelman Financial Engines. They have a knack for soliciting feedback and responding to needs of the field. They will work closely with key members across the business and results from their programs will be reported to our executive committee.

The ideal candidate has deep B:C and B:B expertise in the Financial Services industry. This role will collaborate extensively with leadership across the firm, especially Planners, Centralized Support, Product, Business Intelligence and Compliance.

Skills/experience:

  • 5 - 7 years of progressive B2B and B2C marketing experience
  • Deep knowledge of the retirement and financial planning industries
  • Growth mindset with a passion for maximizing existing, and finding new, sources of revenue
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills in a matrixed organizational environment
