We are seeking a dynamic Marketing & Communications Manager to be responsible for the development and maintenance of marketing and branding strategies, focusing on achieving the goals established in the marketing plan for Belmond El Encanto.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for all Social Media activities, content creation, on-brand communication
  • Create a SMART Social Media annual plan for the resorts, F&B outlets and incremental revenue generators incl. but not limited to Spa.
  • Research, evaluate and measure information on market conditions, competitors' data and roll out actions within the marketing plan.
  • Manage marketing, branding, advertising, promotions and activities related to Belmond brand.
  • Negotiating advertising contracts and securing additional editorial content and exposure through secondary channels (website, social media, inclusion in newsletters).
  • Art design for ad submission compliant with brand standards to magazines, online publications.
  • Designing art for promotions & events (F&B and Spa promotion flyers, key inserts, special weekend events, special events, in-house communications).
  • Updating and managing the creation of hotel collateral (Fact sheet, proposal, power point presentation, menus for all F&B outlets, concierge book).
  • Designing of all online communications (signature banner, newsletters, e-mail blasts, facebook posts).
  • Creation of sales materials for presentations, fairs, and specific items to send to clients.
  • Creation of creative copy for in-house communications, luxury consortia websites, magazines, press releases, announcements.
  • Revising all art and copy submitted by third parties to ensure brand compliance.
  • Support sales actions for company's products, services and promotions to the B2B or B2C markets.
  • Develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with the sales department, detailing the activities of the year to meet the agreed company goals.
  • Creation and execution of marketing budget. Delivering all planned marketing activities within the approved budget.
  • Conduct market research to identify needs for current and future services.
  • Analyze potential relationships with strategic partners aligned to the brand goals.
  • Manage the production of sales support material, internal and external presentations.
  • Managing the exposure of brand in social channels.
  • Manage and plan digital marketing actions and expand the brand digital footprint.
  • Manage all aspects of printing, production and distribution of brand image.
  • Art design for ad submission compliant with brand standards to magazines, online publications.
  • Driving a calendar of regular media exposure, based on resort's activities and monthly strategy.
  • Planning and executing for the resort to be constantly garnering exposure with local media by providing media hooks and new story angles to portray the property.
  • Leading bi-weekly strategy calls with PR Agency to oversee current efforts and ensure timely implementation of PR and marketing activities.
  • Creation of additional initiatives for future actions and define yearly brand initiatives and strategy.
  • Foster Individual Media Stays by providing interesting story angles.
  • Lead Fam Trip pitching, management and organization.
  • Video Filming (Oversee property filming to create useful sales tools to portray property while staying brand compliant).
  • Photo shooting and constantly updating imagery as per brand requirements.
  • Work with sales and revenue management in the creation of new packages and creative ways to garner exposure through branded websites.
  • Drive and ensure proper activation of all brand initiatives on a property level.
  • Attend scheduled calls and programs regarding brand changes, yearly strategy and implementations.
  • Ensure we receive the highest level of exposure through the brand platforms by pitching the property as the venue for relevant activations.
  • Act as a Belmond Brand Ambassador.
  • Follow strictly the Belmond Code of Conduct.
  • Contribute to hotel, customer and employee safety.
  • Consistently lead by example and demonstrate excellence in all services you provide.
  • Recognize good performances and constantly give feedback to the team.

Promote and demonstrate in their actions with clients and staff the brand values (Care, Confidence, Curiosity, Community).

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Graduate in Hospitality, Management, Communications or Marketing
  • Post Graduation in Marketing
  • At least 4 years' experience in Luxury Hospitality Market, Advertise Planning and Branding.
  • Manager PR Agency
  • Languages: English

Skills:

  • Offline and Online Advertising (including Social Media)
  • Advanced User in Office Package (especially Excel and Power Point)
  • Graphic Design (Adobe Creative Package, at least Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Media Planning).
