General Job Duties/Responsibilities:
As the Marketing Automation Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing automation programs that support the customer lifecycle and drive Act! subscriber engagement, adoption, and retention. Using your marketing and automation expertise, you’ll take a data-driven approach to making recommendations on how to improve the Act! subscriber experience at key touchpoints in the customer lifecycle, and will implement key automated campaigns in Eloqua, such as nurture emails, webinar events, and renewal programs. You will use Eloqua to execute tactical tasks associated with the creation of automated campaigns, including the development of emails, landing pages, and lead forms.
Implement and manage automated campaign activities in Eloqua—building and deploying campaigns, and tracking campaign performance via reports and dashboards.
Collaborate with development and business intelligence teams to drive the Eloqua, CRM, and Billing systems integrations needed to support automation efforts and revenue goals.
Segment and leverage customer databases for efficient and effective campaign targeting; generate and implement test strategies, including A/B multi-variant testing.
Manage review cycles for all automation campaigns, distribute emails and related assets to key stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, and Channel, gather feedback, and implement necessary changes.
Support demand generation and retention programs, including nurtures, lead scoring, and progressive profiling initiatives: Build out assets for automation programs using Eloqua; set up and execute tactical tasks associated with customized landing pages, forms creation, email campaigns and lead scoring rules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather automation and/or campaign requirements, translate business needs into technical execution, receive feedback and present results for email campaigns and automation initiatives.
Analyze and report on campaign metrics to ensure campaigns are meeting KPIs, retention, and revenue goals.
Optimize automation campaign performance through testing, lifecycle management, personalization and dynamic content management.
A minimum of 3 years of marketing automation experience building email campaigns, analyzing key campaign metrics, and developing strategies for improving customer experiences via automated programs.
Must have experience using marketing automation software. Eloqua and Eloqua 10 is strongly preferred.
Experience with CRM and marketing automation platform integrations.
Expert knowledge of marketing/email technologies and industry best practices.
Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment under tight deadlines is a must.
