We are seeking a Field Marketing Associate to join our corporate team. The successful candidate for this role is a data-driven, innovative, and solutions-oriented person who can also think strategically and creatively. The Field Marketing Associate (FMA) is responsible for driving alignment between Sales and Marketing through regular Sales engagement, communications and the development of localized marketing activities. He/she will design regional marketing strategy and integrated activities with key manufacturer partners in the field such as Cisco, Dell, AWS, Citrix, and VMware. Working with Corporate Alliances and Marketing teams, the FMA will also be responsible for enhancing market perception and generating marketing and sales qualified leads.

Responsibilities:

  • Align with Sales VPs and Regional Directors to understand the market trends in the region and customize Presidio programs as needed for local deployment
  • Develop and execute Field Marketing events that help drive awareness, education and customer adoption of Presidio's solutions and services
  • Communicate regional and vertical trends to HQ to modify overall strategy, messaging, and content
  • Track, manage and measure all local aspects of Presidio's larger marketing programs
  • Develop deep understanding of target audiences, including pain points, spending profiles, key projects and initiatives, and competing solutions in region
  • Collaborate and team with geo-based field marketing counterparts to access value for the different segment businesses
  • Utilize tools such as SFDC and systems to analyze pipeline and opportunity data to best determine marketing mix

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • 5+ years of work experience in field marketing
  • Ability to plan and execute several field marketing events and activities simultaneously
  • Familiarity with various segment markets (Key, Named, Fed/SLED) relevant industry trends and competitive landscape helpful
  • Proficiency in IT demand generation programs within these markets
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills, project management, negotiation and decision making skills
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and creative thinker who can articulate the context between corporate objectives and market drivers
  • Excellent project management and execution skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage and prioritize competing interests
  • Some travel required – up to 30%
  • Proficient in MS-Office applications, Salesforce.com
