The Manager, Marketing Analytics is responsible for identifying and analyzing opportunities to use customer driven insights to drive improved decision making. Position manages one or more direct reports responsible for supporting and delivering customer insights. Position requires an individual with a passion for creating actionable customer insights that can drive marketing and business strategy.


  • Possess the ability to see the "big picture" and pull out meaningful insights and actions
  • Translate highly technical data and concepts into simplified stories and actionable insights to drive business decisions and anticipate/respond to cross functional business needs
  • Develop insightful, condensed PowerPoint presentations out of complicated analytics
  • Position may be responsible for managing one or more analysts dedicated to driving customer insights and supporting business units as appropriate
  • Applies appropriate quantitative methods to analyze customer data and recommend key strategies against which others can work
  • Communicate effectively, both horizontally and vertically
  • Make autonomous decisions and communicate proactively
  • Work closely with business teams to develop reporting to support customer level business needs
  • Analyze and report on company level events such as sales, adoption, and local marketing events
  • Lead cross functional teams to resolve analytics challenges – Primary Research, Finance, Statisticians, etc., and identify project team members as appropriate to solve challenges
  • Take the initiative for self development by seeking and accepting stretch projects
  • Manage the analysis and reporting of company level key customer segment behavior
  • Provide recommendations and size potential opportunities to ensure that actionable recommendations are delivered


  • Bachelors degree, MBA or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline preferred
  • Must have minimum 6-10 years experience working with customer data
  • Must have a passion for creating actionable customer insights that drive marketing and business strategy
  • Must possess highly refined Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Experience programming (SQL, SAS, etc.) and/or utilizing reporting tools (Microstrategy, Cognos, etc.) required
