The Market Manager provides regional sales analytics and communications support.
Build strong relationships with all internal sales leads, key account managers and territory managers in order to effectively support analytics and reporting requirements
Build, manage and maintain PowerBI reporting and other reports from information supplied by the boards
Pull required reporting into usable weekly reports for the sales leads and sales team
Contribute data/analytics to the monthly sales report that is shared internally across many cross functional teams
Review Key Account data and provide sales reporting to the Key Account team with insights monthly
Become a CRM super-user – pull required reporting from CRM and summarize for sales leads providing insight and feedback as required
Integrate learnings from various sources to create clear and impactful selling stories. Produce materials, presentations and emails to effectively communicate these stories to the sales team
Build out pitch decks and sales story for product call pitch meetings
Effectively educate internal team members and external stakeholders on growth opportunities through clear and compelling communications, including portfolio strategy reviews

Work with Category Managers to manage the product life cycle for the region’s portfolio
Partner with Sales to identify opportunities to increase revenue, and support and grow the regional portfolio, including the maintenance of optimal assortment (including SKU rationalization and new SKU introductions)
Know the region and customer intimately; analyze market dynamics by determining the risks and/or opportunities on the products
Administer data program for region
Participate in the successful execution of marketing campaigns that will increase and defend HEXO’s market share in region
Participate in and develop go-to-market strategies for region for new product launches
Support monthly product review with Board
Maintain market data
Visit retail stores to understand operations and execution
Lead Product Call Process cross functionally (support Board Pitch)
University degree in business administration, data analytics or a related discipline
5+ years of experience in sales and sales analytics, data management
Experience in building convincing sales stories in PowerPoint and other Microsoft tools
Proven relationship builder and team player
Working knowledge of manufacturing operations and basic supply chain principles
Strong knowledge in analysis, pricing, assortment/product planning, financial realization, business processes
Passion for consumer insights and knowing the consumer better than anyone else; ability to translate this into a business opportunity
Highly organized with exceptional project management discipline and experience
Creative thinker and problem solver who takes initiative
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Ontario retail market is an asset
