Summary:

This is a field based position responsible for delivering against strategically aligned quarterly objectives related to key account development, surgeon training and education goals, targeted product launch initiatives to customers and sales representatives, and engaging with sales representatives to develop and maintain existing customer relationships and expand the customer base. This position will also work with Regional Sales Leaders and District Managers to maintain communication related to sales funnel progress of target surgeons and planned territory travel prioritization to optimize the execution of strategies and business development activities that lead to the attainment of the territory objectives. It will also work with medical education and sales training to help utilize the medical education events and connect them to the sales process and customer conversion goals.

Essential job functions:

  • Develop and execute tactical plans to achieve business objectives against Business Unit strategic imperatives and priorities
  • Convert target surgeons working with ASD’s, DMs, and Sales Reps
  • Work with Rep Training team to support in-field and headquarter training initiatives
  • Work with district managers to identify, prioritize and execute key field based training activities and medical education events
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic sales initiatives within Upper Extremities
  • Develop professional and sales relationships by actively engaging with Physicians, key customers and accounts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/sales, clinical or related degree; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years in sales or marketing preferably in medical device
  • Experience in C-Suite discussion and negotiations in the medical field preferred
  • Ability to obtain clinical, procedural and product expertise
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including formal presentation skills before both small and large groups
  • Ability to work with sale representatives and sales leaders to accomplish stated sales objectives
  • Ability to lead surgeon and staff cadaver-based clinical training
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
