Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Statistics, Math, Economics/Econometrics or other Quantitative decision sciences
7+ years of experience applying Financial analytics to answer business questions & provide actionable recommendations
Understanding of analytic practices and methodologies Marketing Mix Modeling, Price and Promotion Analytics, SKU Rationalization, In-market Tests, Market Structure, etc
Specific experience performing analytics in an OTC or Consumer Goods setting
Demonstrated project management skills leading cross-functional teams
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with strong customer focus and the capability to influence at different levels in the organization
Ability to manage multiple priorities with a commitment to delivering on-time and quality results
Extensive experience in Consumer Healthcare setting.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development of consumption forecasting for a portfolio of brands. Responsible in providing a consolidated reporting of consumption / shipment for the GSK Consumer U.S business. Embed analytics in the core commercial cycle to improve forecast & category growth accuracy in partnership with local Finance Director for the GSK Consumer U.S business.
Participate in market-level leadership team & address key strategic questions. Lead brand, category, & competitor situation assessment for key brands as part of monthly reporting for a portfolio of brands and total GSK Consumer U.S business.
Specific responsibilities for the financial evaluation of each business case ensuring realistic assessments are made on both volumes and return on investment for the brand and company. Conduct external/internal data analysis leveraging best-in-class reporting & analysis standards (includes standard and adhoc)
Serve as focal point in the Category Business Unit providing management with a thorough, objective, unbiased assessment on marketing & trade spend effectiveness based on profit ROI.
Build strong business partnering relationships with the Business Unit Management Team. Provide insightful advice in terms of Marketing Mix Analysis and brand strategies on how to beat the competition
Proficiency and knowledge of the business unit P&L’s including budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
Deliver Marketing Mix Modeling, A&P optimization, Price and Promotion Analytics, SKU Rationalization, In-market Tests, Market Structure analysis, etc leveraging methodology developed by advanced analytics team
Partner with IT & local business reporting teams who maintain market-level data warehouse to ensure data quality to support analytics. Leverage business intelligence systems & champion self-service utilization within the market. Computer proficiency to design reports to communicate opportunities/issues for business unit management action
Ensure rigorous new product launch tracking with robust target setting & alignment to global standards
Serve as project lead & mentor for local market analysts team.
