NXP is seeking a candidate to fill the role of quality and business partnership manager for our Chandler and Echo fabs. This position is based at the Chandler site of our FEO manufacturing organization. The quality manager develops, implements and manages quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production and ongoing improvement of front end manufacturing process (consistent with established standards, customer specifications and production goals). The position supervises a team of 2-3 quality engineers who support the operations team drive to benchmark quality performance. The successful candidate is comfortable working across organizational boundaries to set and achieve aggressive goals.
The ideal candidate will possess: (1) strong analytical skills with passion for driving to true root cause; (2) the strategic, analytic, and interpersonal skills to act as an effective change agent; (3) the communication skills to effectively influence global teams and manage conflict in ways that build relationships and trust with internal business partners and suppliers. The position will be based in Chandler, AZ. Estimated travel <10%.
