Ensures compliance of Quality Management System policies and procedures including the coordination and deployment of standardized Aero Quality Management System (QMS) and Audit management. Ensures compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications. Improves the efficiency of QMS and audit output.
Supports continuous product and process Quality improvements across the ISC value chain, including Quality engagement into Honeywell Operating System (HOS) deployment. Lead Quality and Manufacturing Assurance improvements and achievement of AOP in the following: PPM, Escapes, First Pass Yield, COPQ and Safety.
Supports the development of Customer Quality improvement plans, communicate with customer on product and process issues, coordinate customer CARs, flows down customer requirements to the organization, prepares customer data in internal and external environments, monitors and reports to the organization customer quality indicators, uses metrics to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction and performs Contract Reviews as needed.
Requires 3-5 years of directly related experience in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing or Product Engineering. '- Solid understanding of Quality Systems and manufacturing techniques and their impact on costs including continuous improvement. Able to make decisions to positively impact the operations.
-Knowledge of Quality Assurance standards and practices applicable to the manufacture of aerospace products including regulatory, military, commercial, and industry/customer standards as applicable (e.g., ISO9000, AS9001)
- Knowledge, skill and experience with wide range of Quality Systems and manufacturing processes
- Ability to analyze internal and external data to drive product / process improvement
