The Manufacturing Finance Operations Controller is responsible for overseeing all Manufacturing Operations Accounting functions for the three manufacturing plants. This position will lead a team of accountants to provide support to Senior Vice President Operations, Plant Directors, Quality Vice President and Supply Chain Vice President. The Manufacturing Finance Operations Controller will also manage the Inventory Control function and support the Finance function through its participation in the preparation of financial analysis, budgets, performance measurements and ad hoc analysis.
Key accountabilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
? Follow all company policies and procedures. ? Follow and ensure compliance to quality system and cGMP programs. ?Responsible for the establishment, maintenance, and analysis of manufacturing costs, including raw material, labor and overhead spending analysis. ? Partner with SVP Operations and provide financial analysis and support for sound business decisions. ? Provide accounting direction and support to other departments as required, including plant management, quality, purchasing, planning and manufacturing services. ? Provide cost estimates on new products. ? Ensure that proper controls and procedures are in place for the tracking and valuation of business assets and inventory. ? Analyze product profitability and report on financial results to management. ? Work with operations to identify cost savings opportunities. ? Develop capital investment plans in conjunction with Operations, including financial return evaluation. ? Develop continuous Improvement plan for reporting and business process for costing and inventory modules in Microsoft AX, in partnership with IT. ? Ensure that all internal and external reporting deadlines are met.
? Management experience for multiple direct and indirect reports. ? College degreerequired (BS in Accounting preferred). ? 12+ years of operational accounting work experience. ? CPA / CMA required? MBA preferred? Complex computer skills needed, including ERP experience. Either ERP cost accounting module implementation or Microsoft Dynamics experiencerequired. ? Must demonstrate outstanding communication skills, with finance and non-finance personnel. ? Must have strong math skills. ? Complex reading skills required. ? Must have moderate writing skills. ? Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures. ?
