Job Description

Texwipe is a global leader in cleanroom consumables and for over 50 years has been the most recognized name with the contamination control and critical clean industries.

Our products are purchased by the world’s foremost pharmaceutical, medical device, compounding pharmacies, biologics, food processing, semiconductor, electronics, aerospace, industrial, and print companies. Texwipe offers a comprehensive line of cleanroom wipers, cleanroom swabs, sterile solutions, disinfectants, and other cleanroom consumables.

Headquartered in Kernersville, North Carolina, the company supports customers with sales offices throughout North America, Europe and Asia. Manufacturing centers are located in North Carolina, China and the Philippines.

There is currently an opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager at our facility in Milledgeville, Georgia.  

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for direct supervision of hourly production employees on all shifts.

  • Responsible for providing quality finished goods on time and within budget.

  • Maintain a work environment that fosters continuous improvement.

  • Ensures that plans are developed and executed to meet departmental and plant objectives for cost, quality, delivery, safety, housekeeping and regulatory compliance.

  • Work with Customer Service, Marketing and Sales to maintain competitive lead times for finished goods.

  • Oversee and coordinate activities with suppliers to assure competitive pricing and delivery of materials.

  • Provide labor allocations to meet production requirements for all shifts.

  • Assures proper reporting of performance metrics as required.

  • Implement corrective actions to address non-conformances.

  • Coordinates support needs to meet department objectives.

  • Communicates with the Plant Manager to review results of operations, waste and quality performance, purchasing, planning, and scheduling issues and continuous improvement activities.

  • Provides support and feedback for employee training.

  • Identifies personnel issues and consults with Human Resources for resolution.

  • Maintain adequate staffing levels to achieve production requirements.

  • Assures departmental compliance of Company safety, quality and ISO policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and/or Engineering plus a minimum of 8years of management experience in a textile manufacturing facility (knitting, dyeing/scouring) preferred or equivalent experience.

  • Cost control innovator for process manufacturing.

  • Understanding and experience in GMP’s, Statistical Process Control, Quality Systems and related regulatory requirements.

  • Must possess good mechanical aptitude.

  • Must be able to lead and motivate workforce.

  • Must have strong organizational skills.

  • Strong communication skills required; both oral and written.

  • Strong math and computer skills required.

  • Six Sigma methodologies desired.
