OPPORTUNITY: Looking for an operations leader with a continuous improvement mentality. Company engineers and assembles capital equipment. There are subassemblies and sub-subassemblies. Everything is built to order. Be the first shift leader on new assembly and engineering support for repair and manufacturing work and for the adherence of all work to engineering specifications and standards. Resolve quality or assembly related issues. Ensure a safe work environment.
Report to General Manager, review production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments. Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules. Partner on workforce development and recommend measures to motivate employees, improve production methods, and increase efficiency of shop personnel. Team with product engineering on technical problems, BOM issues or blueprints.
REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS ideal; 10+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 4+ years in a supervisory/management role of assembly operations within medium to heavy machinery. Must have examples of continuous improvement. Must be a leader who can partner across the business and have a history of meeting or exceeding expectations.
REWARD: $95,000 to $115,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits.
