We are looking for a Manufacturing IT Engineer to help build, maintain, and troubleshoot our supply chain management, factory automation and control systems for wafer manufacturing, assembly and testing.  You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical solutions and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security. Qualified systems engineers will have a background in IT, industrial engineering, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.


    Manage, tune and monitor all installed manufacturing systems and related infrastructure (Application, Database, middleware, OS, Network, etc.).

    Install, configure, interconnect, test and maintain factory control systems, application software and system management tools

    Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

    Understand manufacturing needs and propose solutions, implement actions and liaise with multi-skill focus teams to achieve factory objectives.

    Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to assure 24x7 uninterrupted operations.

    Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

    Understand business problems, design and implement solutions.

    Works with multiple areas of the organization and shares accountability.

    Provides system documentation, training materials and engages end users.

Minimum Qualifications     


    GPA 3.5 or above.

    BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering or an IT related subject.

    Basic experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows and UNIX/Linux based environments.

    Understands software engineering principles and SDLC.

    Solid programming skills: Java, C++, Javascript, assembly or PHP.

    Solid database skills: SQL, Oracle, Postgres, Mongo.

    Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python)

    Desired knowledge of virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)

    Knowledge or experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ

    Knowledge or experience with JMS.

    Desired knowledge of Semiconductor manufacturing

    Knowledge on Supply Chain Management fundamentals needed for SCM roles
