Identify root cause of manufacturing & production issues and deliver solutions to meet needs of production customers.
*** Analyze work methods and deliver solutions to meet needs of production customers related to safety, ergonomics, and similar issues.
***Support safety, quality, & output optimization and scrap elimination projects.
*** Troubleshoot and develop solutions for various chemical and mechanical issues focusing on the following:
*** Epoxies: mixing, curing, drying, wicking, & polishing.
***Plastic Tubing: fusing, extruding, flaring, forming, & molding.
*** Fiber Optics: drawing, coating, curing, winding, stuffing, & polishing.
*** Repair equipment such as simple mechanical machines, temperature controllers, Programmable Logic Controllers, Human Machine Interfaces, motion controllers, packaging and sealing pouches & trays, and similar.
*** Perform burst, tensile, leak, optical gauge, Fourier Transform Infrared Analysis (FTIR), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and similar testing.
*** Assist with CAD modeling utilizing Solidworks or similar.
*** Serve as subject matter expert related to process validation plans, Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, Performance Qualification, Software Validation, Test Method Validation, Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility, and similar with a focus on the medical device industry.
