Job Description

The candidate will serve in a hybrid new central issue program delivery and ongoing support role. The Manufacturing Engineer will work withinternal team members and vendors as appropriate on factory software development, testing, implementation and ongoing support. Additionally, the candidate will also may also work on various personalization programming to support new program deliveries.

Required Skills

  • Assists internal / vendor team in factory SW development for new programs.

  • Conducts testing on factory SW builds to ensure control files are generated and process correctly for personalization machines.

  • Works with QA department in testing credentials created using new factory SW builds to ensure correct personalization programming of all data and features.

  • Provides factory support for job and record processing issues in coordination with tier 3 and factory support teams.

  • Assists in development of new technologies for factory processes and overall operation.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Applied Science or IT focus)

  • 10+ years working with and securing confidential data in Visa / MC or AAMVA certified industry

  • Working experience using multiple database formats (SQL, PostGReS,DB2)

  • Basic troubleshooting knowledge of IIS and Apache web servers

  • Break / fix experience in both development and deployed environments

  • Documented experience planning, deploying, updating, and maintaining networks

  • Production focused attitude and commitment to supporting the customer

Travel Requirement, Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

Travel requirement, such as:

  • Frequent overnight travel is required; up to 50% of the time

Working Conditions, such as:

  • General office environment. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.

Physical Demands, such as:

  • The work requires light physical effort with frequent lifting and/or moving of materials in the 10-30 pound range and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires manual dexterity and ability to manipulate small objects. May require normal range of hearing and vision to operate machinery.
