Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes by providing technical support in the development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods per project requirements.
Here is a glimpse of what you?ll do?
? Designs manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters.
? Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.
? Collaborates with facilities, engineering, materials, and production operations to develop and implement manufacturing systems.
? Analyzes and plans workforceutilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
? Create work instructions and coordinate training for facilities, materials, and production personnel.
? Confers with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
? Supportstroubleshooting and root cause analysis of product/process related issues.
? Coordinates with customers to determine product specifications and design changes and responds to their request.
? Coordinate/participate in pFMEA of manufacturing processes.
? Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
? Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
? Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
? Validate production floor system routing.
? Define process/equipment validation plan and requirements.
Here is some of what you?ll need (required)?
? Bachelor of Science in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
? Minimum of 8years experience in related field.
? Minimum 5years related experience in a technology based industry, where automated assembly techniques are utilized.
? Industrial Engineering experience working in high-volume assembly, filling, packaging processes.
? Familiarity with automated equipment systems and tools - robotic, vision, material handling, Conveyors, PLC, HMI,Pick-Place-Pack, Inspection/Test (Structural and Non-Contact e.g. Laser), Application of lasers e.g. Etching/Marking,Dispensing processes, plastics welding and joining.
? CAD software experience: Solidworks, Pro-Engineer/Creo, AutoCAD or equivalent
? Microsoft Office tools.

? Experienceapplying Lean manufacturing concepts to high-volume operations.
? Experience with high-volume automation applications in the medical device, food, beverage, or electronics industries.
? Experience/knowledge in plastic injection molding operations.
? Experience in manufacturing equipment validation.
? Six Sigma Green Belt certification and/or Lean certification
