Immediate need for a talented manufacturing electricalengineering professional in the aerospace/defense division of a long established manufacturing company. Provide input in new product design to assure manufacturability and evaluate PCB fabrication and assembly drawings. Develop manufacturing instructions, process specifications, and rework instructions for electronic assemblies and perform PFMEA and DFM to identify potential process risks early in the design stage. Develop layout of manufacturing cells and manage design and procurement of assembly tooling and fixtures. Manage supplier development and support for contract manufacturers, including new supplier assessment, process development, assembly support, and source inspection. Team with engineers, technicians, program managers, and suppliers in supporting production and driving continuous improvement activities.
$70,000 to $80,000 plus 10-15% bonus and excellent benefits. Relocation assistance is available.
Bachelor’s degree in ElectricalEngineering with 3 years of manufacturing electricalengineeringexperience. PCB and Electro-Mechanical assembly knowledge. Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience. Electronics testing experience and working in a product development environment are pluses. Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident
