Green Bay Packaging Inc., Coated Products Operations, is currently seeking a Division Manager for our slitting and distribution facility located in Kansas City (Riverside), MO.

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is a family-owned, vertically integrated and diversified company consisting of corrugated container plants, folding carton operations, recycled and virgin linerboard mills, pressure-sensitive label manufacturing, specialty converting operations, timberland, and land stewardship and management. Founded in 1933, this Green Bay, WI based company has over 3,600 employees and 37 manufacturing locations in 15 states. In addition, the company recently purchased a new manufacturing plant in Kansas City for this division.

The Coated Products Operations manufactures pressure sensitive label stock, utilizing a variety of face stock, adhesive and release liner combinations. Product capabilities include an expanded film line, as well as traditional paper, foil and thermal offerings. Our self-adhesive materials are widely used by major label printers across the USA and around the world.

The Division Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of this paper converting facility. Primary areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, safety, quality, production, technical, engineering and maintenance, employee recruitment, relations and training. The Division Manager will be directing the efforts of two Shift Managers and associated support personnel. This division employs around 20 hourly production employees on two shifts, typically running Monday through Friday.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Five or more years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, paper or converting is ideal
  • Excellent organizational and supervisory skills
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to develop personnel
  • Four year Engineering or Technical degree strongly preferred
