Job Description

Wilshire Associates Incorporated is a global investment advisory firm that offers institutionally based solutions to meet the investment needs of our clients. The firm seeks a Managing Director to join its Wilshire Analytics division in Santa Monica. The position entails working with the President of the division and other senior leaders to stabilize the existing business, identify opportunities for growth, and oversee execution of key business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and close new business relationships
  • Maintain existing clients and sources of revenue 
  • Lead product development strategy
  • Drive operating income by enhancing business efficiencies 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 15+ years of professional experience in the financial services/analytical software space
  • Strong business acumen and progressive leadership experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Excellent communication skills, including written and oral, and the ability to identify, cultivate and maintain relationships
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to relate to individuals with varying degrees of investment knowledge
  • Ability to interact credibly (demonstrating “executive presence”) with all levels of a prospect organization, from executive management to junior investment staff
