Chronos Consulting’s client is a provider of technical testing and inspection services, utilizing engineers and technicians to ensure the safety, quality, environmental impact, and performance of equipment, machinery, and working conditions.
You are a business leader who can develop and execute strategy to expand in Canada. You possess experience offering B2B services into multiple industries, and are responsible for client expansion and resource management.Target industries: Chemical; Engineering; Infrastructure; Industrial Machinery; Manufacturing; Power, Energy, & Utilities (Renewable); and Pulp & Paper, to name a few.
Reporting to the CEO, you will:
Manage and expand the Canadian business, driving operational excellence, business development, service performance, and financial P&L
Develop a business plan and implement new service offerings and technical requirements; drive strategic planning, client development, pricing structure, business efficiencies, contract negotiations, and resource allocation
Achieve and exceed operational KPIs, budget, and revenue
Direct the overall quality to ensure consistency and delivery of services to meet customer needs
Coach and mentor the Canadian team and oversee change management initiatives
Spearhead expansion through organic growth and strategic acquisition
University degree in Engineering or Business Management, coupled with 10+ years of experience developing and executing strategy
Proven ability to manage and drive business operations in a fast-paced environment; acquisition experience a plus
Stay knowledge on market changes/trends and areas of expansion and investment in a broad range of industries that are impacting the Canadian business landscape; leverage that market knowledge for creation of new services offerings
Experience managing a team size of 200-300+ employees and contractors, and a P&L of $30M+; manage and drive employee Health & Safety initiatives
Strong verbal and written communication; skillful negotiation ability and proven track record of coordinating and motiving teams in a results-oriented business environment
