Charles Schwab's Digital Advice Product Management team is responsible for defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of our robo advisor products. We work, think and approach problems differently than your traditional financial services firm, and we drive to change both how Schwab operates and how the industry serves investors. In this role, you will identify new opportunities to integrate the digital advice platform in to other Schwab business units in an effort to dramatically increase the assets under management within the family of Digital Advice products. You will be responsible for creating an integrated product strategy, build and manage a product roadmap and oversee the team of product owners who will oversee implementation of the product roadmap.
What you’ll do:
The Managing Director act as a leader and will work cross-functionally with senior leaders from other Schwab business units, Technology, Legal, Compliance and UX Design teams. The candidate will ensure new methods for connecting our businesses together with our new Digital Advice products are both represented broadly and enabling functionality is designed and implemented through a data-based methodology.
This role requires the passion to understand complex partnerships, build long-term relationships across the organization and negotiate creative solutions to generate significant value for our Digital Advice products.
In addition, this role is responsible for identifying and evaluating how centralized Schwab products and technologies can be integrated with our new Digital Advice products, extending our digital platform to better meet the needs of our clients, across the financial spectrum. The capabilities in this area will help form the basis of how the firm meets our clients evolving needs in the long-run.
Projects are broad in scope and require creativity and world-class strategic thinking, as well as strong product management and leadership skills. The successful candidate must be energetic and enthusiastic about digitalinvesting innovation and also have experience with financial services or platform monetization. They will be self-motivated, results oriented and able to independently lead major strategic initiatives. Strong client-focus is a must.
Directors interact with senior members of Schwab’s leadership team and executive partners within the business units. Projects are focused on driving growth and operating leverage for Schwab, while delivering great digitalexperiences and better outcomes for investors and advisors.
