**This person will oversee the Healthcare vertical within our Consulting Division. Any qualified applicant will need to have a strong background in a formal consulting environment focused on the healthcare industry.

***We are opening to considering candidates for this role in any city where we have a branch office location.

Major Function:

This position will serve as a Managing Director for various multiple consulting engagements with our clients and will act as a consultant to current and prospective accounts to understand needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Position involves client relationship building, executive level communications/presentations, reviewing and monitoring quality of client deliverables, supervising engagement teams, scoping and estimating new engagements, and evaluation of business needs.

Specific Duties:

Engagement Delivery

· Provide oversight of the engagement delivery team and incorporate client feedback into the project delivery operations

· Consult with client as needed on topics such as Governance, Portfolio Management and other areas of engagements

· Ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables against contractual and client expectations

· Serve as active member of Project or Program Steering Committees on engagements, as needed

· Attend periodic program status meetings with Program Sponsor/ Client Leadership team

· Review and approve engagement financials, budgets, forecasts and estimates at completion, and monitor/resolve any budget overruns/shortfalls

· Responsible for overall client satisfaction related to MD’s engagements


· Estimate and scope new project opportunities in support of Apex sales professionals

· Collaborate with customers to identify enhancement opportunities to project support services

· Develop new business in new and existing accounts

· Coach and mentor IT Staffing professionals to enable them to sell new IT Services opportunities in existing accounts

· Support existing Apex sales team members to position, propose, sell and close IT Services business

· Develop and maintain executive level relationships with client base

Managing the Business

· Each Managing Director is assigned one leadership area in support of the business as a whole: Training, Overall Delivery (including utilization), Risk Management, Solution Leader, Sales & Marketing support materials, etc.

· Performance Manager for up to five (5) engagement manager-level individuals

Minimum Requirements:

· Good organization skills

· Good communication skills

· Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint advanced features

· Understanding and knowledge of Project Management principles, methodologies, and alternative delivery approaches, such as Agile

· Experience with onboarding/off-boarding associates/consultants with clients

· Experience with project/program portfolio management, tracking and collaboration tools such as: Clarity, HP PPM, PlanView, SharePoint, OWB, MS Project, Jira, TFS, etc.

· Great customer relationship management focus

· Results orientated with a high sense of urgency to meet client requirements

· Experience with resources planning, budgeting and forecasting

Education & Experience:

· BachelorDegree with concentration in Business, Computer Science or Information Systems. MBA preferred

· Big 5 Consulting Experience (or similar) at Partner or Senior Manager level

· Experience managing, setting priorities, solving complex problems and selling in a consultative role

· Ability to lead and mentor IT StaffingSales Directors and local Account Managers

· Minimum twelve (12) years consulting experience

· Performance Manager experience with at least five (5) professionals concurrently

· Successfully managed engagement teams comprised of at least twenty (20) professionals per engagement

· Minimum twelve (12) years industry-specific experience for the designated industry focus area
