Bank of Montreal seeks a Managing Director to formulate and execute marketing and business development strategies. Provide strategic analysis of metals transactions, develop bespoke pricing structures for clients, and oversee sales. Develop and maintain client relationships and enhance communication with traders to streamline processes. Research industry trends and direct market analysis and information and ensure compliance within global organization at all levels. Strategize deal structuring, hedge structures, and assessment of risks and opportunities. Work with specialized product groups to build industry specialization by performing industry analysis and reports. Expand business by developing and implementing risk management and market-to market systems and procedures.
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, followed by 10 years of progressively responsible experience with commodities and metals transactions with an emphasis on investment and corporate banking. Experience must include a minimum of: 10 years of experience with international investment banking, regulations, and securities products; 10 years of experience with the US, Canadian, and European markets, trading, leadership, and risk management; 10 years of experience with business development, marketing, sales, new product development, and cross-selling sustaining significant revenue generation in the capital markets industry; 10 years of experience with credit issues and industry trends in multiple client sectors in the international markets, including mining, metal refining, energy, chemical, institutional, and pension/hedge funds; and 1 year of experience at the executive management level.
