The Carolina Value Business Practice Improvement Manager (BPIM) is responsible for leading high profile, high-visibility programs and projects to improve patient care, operational efficiency and health outcomes while reducing cost across the health care system.
A successful BPIM possesses a mix of healthcare, business, and communications skills necessary to:
Drive system-level organizational learning, performance improvement and transformational change
Develop and monitor project plans and timelines to achieve project objectives within scope and time constraints, in alignment with strategic business goals
Manage communication and team dynamics among C-level executives, physicians, and other health care professionals from a wide range of cross-functional areas
Apply change management tools and techniques to ensure adoption of new practices and actualize culture change
This individual reports to the Carolina Value Director and will work with a team of Business Practice Improvement Managers to achieve Carolina Value's strategic objectives.
Healthcare experience preferred
Proven ability to lead complex projects in a clinical and/or business environment
Excellent analytical and communication skills, including facilitation and presentation skills
Proven ability to excel and achieve results in a team-oriented, matrixed environment
Experience leading groups of stakeholders/leaders to achieve quantifiable results
Knowledge of project and change management techniques and tools
Highly responsive to internal customers
Lean Six Sigma Certification at Yellow Belt Level or higher
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Science or Health Care-related field. Five (5) years of management consulting, business process improvement design and implementation, project management or related business experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
