This is a Supervisory position within the Turbine Airfoils & Compressor Blade Sector within the Global Services Engineering (GSE) Commercial repair group. This position is located in East Hartford. The supervisor is responsible for typical managerial responsibilities of a group of RDE's who are responsible for the development of repairs for commercial gas turbine engine parts, and including development of the repair concept, writing of the repair, obtaining internal approvals, obtaining FAA regulatory approval, and coordination with the end user. Otherresponsibilities: -Interface with commercial product line management (PLM) to secure budgets and resolve programmatic issues -Manage outsourcing requirements and SOWs -Assist sector manager with developing staffing plans as part of the OMM budgeting process -Manage special projects and lead/support field investigations for the airfoils team -Manage the sector's Engineering Enabled Aftermarket (EEA) task status and communication with Engine Services -Collaborate with Global Service Partners repair units both at domestic and international locations to identify opportunities to further grow the business and address current issues. -Support the IPTs to help resolve hurdles associated with task execution

Qualification: Demonstrated leadership skills with excellent written and oral communication. Assertive and results-oriented with good problem solving skills. Desired leadership experience within CIPT environment and P&W design methods and procedures. Ability to lead a diverse team and work with other engineering units to drive results. Exposure to the aftermarket business is also key. Familiarity with turbine airfoils or compressor airfoils hardware is desired.
Education: BS in Engineering, plus 8 to 12 years of experience in a program environment related to engine hardware design/development, aftermarket support, manufacturing processes, or other relevant engineering discipline. MBA a plus.
