Responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of all internal and external financial reporting, including SEC filings and presentations to executive leadership and Board of Directors. Also responsible for maintaining internal accounting and reporting controls to ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, SEC and other regulations (e.g. Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).

Job Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

Responsible for technical accounting research relating to complex transactions, including business acquisitions, debt refinancing, hedges, incentive compensation, equity awards, annual business valuations, etc.

Responsible for monitoring and implementing new accounting guidance

Prepares external financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standards

Participates in and leads the quarterly review and annual year-end audit process with external auditors

Manages statutory reporting, including audits and funded reserve compliance

Works closely with Investor Relations to develop narratives for quarterly earnings releases

Enhances current accounting practices and policies

Prepares analysis and reports for routine and ad hoc presentations to executive leadership and Board of Directors

Job Requirements:

Certified Public Accountant

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred

Minimum 5 years of related work experience including 1 years of management experience

Flexible, strategic team player with high integrity and ethical standards

Ability to carry out assigned tasks timely and efficiently

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle pressure well, be self-motivated and detail oriented

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel
